In order to create awareness and understanding among the public about measures to prevent and reduce road accidents, the Traffic Management Center of the Royal Thai Police has created the "Road Safety Project", aiming to strengthen traffic discipline and create road safety so that traffic management is smooth and efficient. All units nationwide are to consider selecting important roads or roads with many traffic violations or roads with frequent accidents, including giving importance to roads with educational institutions to campaign for road users to strictly comply with traffic laws. In addition, police officers have been ordered to strictly enforce land traffic laws and laws related to vehicles or the use of roads on such roads to prevent accidents and create safety in travel.
